Back in Melaka again after 2 days of ICADME 09 conference in Penang.
My first international conference, and my 1st presentation experience in an international conference. Mine was on the 7th session, on the topic of "A Study of Thermal Behaviour od Automotive Clutch Disc Component". Alhamdulillah, went fine and manage to attract several questions from the audience, notably from Prof K.N. Seetharamu from India, one of current best and the well known figure in fluid-thermal related analysis community. He3..tq all for the suggestions and comments.
After lunch on the 2nd day, drive directly back to Melaka and finally arrived safe and sound alhamdulillah last night, and manage to stop for a while at umah pakcik det in Sepang for a break.
For today, completed the Hari Rekabentuk dan Automotif FKM 2009, held at UTeM Sports Complex, Main Campus as one of the organizing comittee. A very good event, combining the products of FKM students from year 2-4 in subjects such as product optimization, automotive styling, solid mechanics, engineering design and 3D modelling. Special event was the Paper Bicycle Event, the first of its kind to be introduce and held in Malaysia. Got a lot of attention from other universities and private companies (Proton tuh!).. and may see this sort of event to be organized more often in the future.

Jom pi Penang
Jumaat 9/10/09:
Malam ni dah bersiap2 untuk gerak ke P.Pinang awal lagi esok bagi menghadiri Persidangan Antarabangsa ICADME 2009 anjuran Unimap di Bayview Beach Resort dari 11-13 oktober. Tajuk kertas kerja ialah "Thermal Behaviour of Automotive Clutch Disc Component".
Tp esok gerak sorg jer, sbb ainur n adam ada kat johor skrg ni utk setelkan projek Phd nya. Ape2pun, esok aku bakal gerak dgn zaid n family.. pagi esok hantar zaid dulu di KLIA (zaid nk pi training ISP di China), pastu ambik noeni di umah pakchaq, pastu drop mar n aimee di R&R sg buloh, sebelum bertolak balik ke kampung dgn noeni.
Hrni ni plak berlangsung ceramah teknikal oleh pihak Lotus Malaysia, diikuti dengan mesyuarat kerjasama kali ke-3 antara FKM UTeM dgn Lotus Eng Malaysia. Pas jumaat plak ada majlis jamuan hari raya aidilfitri anjuran KESURI di Fasa B.
